HGG Giveaway! iPhone and Blackberry DIY Phone Case {Ends 12/5}

Everyone loves pictures. We love taking them and browsing through them. We love to show off babies, vacations and send picture cards of our families for the holidays.

Here is how easy it is to create your own case. First, go to the DIY custom Case-mate site. Choose whether you want to upload your own image or create a case using the gallery. (I chose to upload my own image.)At first I chose an image that was too small. I got this warning screen image below. So, the images needs to be of pretty high quality – at least 1650×1650 pixels, but they recommend 2000×2000. I needed to get an image from our high resolution digital camera instead of my cell phone image I tried before. 🙂 I found an image I wanted to work with and selected my device (iPhone 4, iPhone 3G/3GS, iPod Touch or Blackberry Models 9700/8520).  Then I got right into editing it. The DIY editor lets you choose the size of the picture, rotate it, etc. It is very user friendly.

To change the size of the image, use the min-max scale. You can rotate it. You can also add art from the gallery to give it even more of a special touch!

I tested the DIY gallery too – the gallery has real artists’ designs where you implement your own personal art style with theirs to create something totally unique! It is sweet! I played around for another half hour at least! The website is easy to navigate, which makes it easy to get creative. You should definitely check out for yourself all of the artists’ designs and all of the cool things you can do with the gallery!

Case-mate isn’t just limited to the DIY cases – there is so much more! For example for my phone – I have the “Barely There Case” – it is Case-mate’s new line of sporty cases for the HTC EVO 4G. These cases are designed to protect the design of the HTC EVO 4G while allowing more of it to show. I love how slim it is, there is no noticeable extra bulk. It comes in black and pink (picture!) and has openings for the camera and the stand.
