Haven’t you heard? Vinyl lettering and vinyl art are insanely popular right now! They are becoming a major trend. I have seen them everywhere online, in stores and on the walls of friend’s homes. I absolutely love all of the creative ways to implement them into your home. They are an easy, inexpensive way to add some art to an empty wall.

One site I absolutely love for their great quotes and phrases is Sticky Words. They have unique, personal, and inspiring words. Some of my favorite phrases on their site are:

Once you’re on the Sticky Words site it is easy to navigate through each pre-designed words category. Some of the categories are: Entry, Family, Kitchen, Bath, Kids, Nursery, and more. You can choose from over 20 colors for any of the phrases/art.

The absolute BEST features (in my opinion) about using  Sticky Words is the fact you can design your own.  Simply choose “My Custom Wall Phrase” and they will customize your favorite phrase for you! What a great way to personalize!

Whether you get a pre-designed phrase/art or choose to customize your own, they are easy to put on the wall-just like a big sticker! (and no worries, easy to remove too!)

I think these make a great gift for weddings, housewarming, or a baby shower. I love the idea of doing a monogram (see pic) for a wedding gift. It is so personal and unique – 100x better than a toaster! There are so many cute nursery and kid phrases, such a fun way to decorate and personalize a little one’s room! Image here: http://www.stickywords.net/Wall_Art_3_files/shapeimage_7.png The apartment the guy and I moved into 3 months ago has a cathedral ceiling and a huge wall area in the living room that we’re only beginning to fill up. This would look wonderful on it and since we’re in an apartment, it’s nice to have an option that wouldn’t damage the walls but still decorate, since we can’t paint. It would fit perfectly into our tropical/asian motif and especially with the black asian bamboo screen we’re getting to define an entryway!
