By now you know how very much I love Tropical Traditions products. Whether it is their coconut chips, coconut oil or natural cleaning products, I **heart** them. Most recently I reviewed Tropical Traditions Moisturizing Lotion, and my opinion of this product is no different.
Between my job (washing my hands about every ten minutes!) and my home (Colorado) I have awfully dry skin. If I don’t moisturize everyday, my skin gets flaky and scaly, gross! Since I use lotion so often, I like to use natural and organic products. The reason is simple… have you ever thought about it? When you use lotion – it gets sucked into your skin – do you really want to be rubbing unnatural chemicals on your skin? It soaks into your body for goodness sakes!
Ok, that is my rant… anyway, Go natural! Woo!
Tropical Traditions Moisturizing Lotion is just the stuff for me because they are all made with organic Virgin Coconut Oil, Virgin Palm Oil and completely 100% natural ingredients. These hand-made lotions are filled with antioxidants,Vitamin E and are rich in natural carotenes. They contain no alcohols, no artificial fragrances, and no petroleum products.
The lotions come in 5 scents and also 1 unscented. The essential oil scents are Lavender, Citrus, Baby Silk, Peppermint and Arnica.
I tested the lavender, and the scent was light and lasted for awhile on my skin. The smell was more coconut-y than lavender, but I liked it a lot! It soaked into my skin quickly. My hydrated skin was thankful for the pure ingredients like: purified water, organic virgin coconut oil, organic jojoba, emulsifying wax (plant based, no soy), grapefruit seed extract, virgin palm oil, and organic essential oil of lavender.
BUY IT!! This scent comes in a 8 oz. bottle and is $14.99. It can be found online at TropicalTraditions.com
