Being a flight attendant comes with many benefits. One of the benefits – the fact I can travel the world easily and cheaply! Recently we took a trip to Greece! We went around the Greek Islands and saw many of the famous mainland Greek cities – including Athens, Sparta, Olympia and Corinth! What a beautiful, memorable place!
One of my favorite pastimes of traveling (Greece was no exception) is enjoying local food. The wine, the Greek salads, gyros with pitas and Greek yogurt tasted better than ever while enjoying them in beautiful, ancient Greece.
I tried Greek yogurt a number of times while in Greece, despite the fact that I had never been a fan of Greek yogurt! (I thought it was too tart, bland and tangy.) But my recent travels to Greece have changed my ways!
Now I’ve noticed this yogurt is the new craze in the yogurt section! It seems that all the top yogurt brands are marketing their Greek yogurt! And there are coupons galore! Fantastic!
Well, I had a chance to review YoCrunch’s Greek yogurt to see if it stood up to the Greek yogurt of Greece!
First of all YoCrunch is most famous for it’s delicious mix-ins. Oreo, M&Ms, Reese and more. Don’t get me wrong, I love candy, but in my yogurt, not so much. Luckily, their Greek yogurt is more natural with options of fruit and granola. Now that is what I’m talkin’ about!
Flavors like blueberry, strawberry, peach and honey. Yum. The YoCrunch Greek nonfat yogurt with honey is definitely most like the Greek yogurt in Greece. It is simple, and simply delicious. The honey adds a perfect touch of sweetness. It comes with a granola mix-in, but in my humble opinion, isn’t even necessary! It is tasty as-is!
