What is your favorite smoothie bowl add-in? There are so many good smoothie bowl toppings like coconut flakes, chia seeds, hemp seeds, fruit, nuts and powders. Recently, I started adding nut butters to my smoothie bowls – and my smoothie bowls will never be the same again!

I love the Once Again Nut Butters for my smoothie bowls. They have delicious nut butters, peanut butter and honey too! A perfect addition to my morning smoothie bowls! Okay, let’s me honest, sometimes I have smoothie bowls for lunch and dinner too…

About Once Again Nut Butter:

A small employee-owned company in upstate New York started making nut butters, seed butters and honey. The company grew, named a raccoon as their mascot (because of the famous raccoons that hung around the warehouse) and are now sold nationwide!

What I love About Once Again Nut Butters:

The nut butters I tried (peanut butter, cashew butter, almond butter and sunflower seed butter) are all clean and simple ingredients. They all have 3 or less ingredients. The peanut butter and the almond butter only have one! Peanut butter and almonds! That is simple! They have no added sugar either! Yay, because added sugar is in waaaaaaaaay too many foods these days!

The nut and seed butters are made with organic ingredients. They are Gluten Free Certified, Non GMO Verified, Certified Organic, Vegan, Kosher, Whole-30 and Paleo friendly. Plus, they are yummy in my tummy and a perfect topping for smoothie bowls!

Smoothie Bowl Recipe:

Berry Smoothie Bowl

A blend of berries makes this a nutritious smoothie bowl + it's topped with satisfying ingredients!

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup blueberries frozen
  • 1/2 cup strawberries frozen
  • 1/2 banana frozen
  • 3/4 cup coconut milk or milk of choice
  • 3/4 cup yogurt - dairy or dairy free I use coconut milk yogurt

Instructions

  • Put all ingredients into a blender until smooth. Pour smoothie into a bowl and garnish with add-in toppings! Enjoy!

Notes

Play with smoothie bowl toppings! Options are endless. Add a scoop of yogurt, peanut butter, nut butter, honey, banana sliced, oats, blueberries, strawberries, chia seeds, hemp seeds, pecans, shredded coconut, pumpkin seeds, kiwi slices, granola, fresh herbs, cinnamon, raisins, dried fruit, trail mix, cocoa nibs, whipped cream!

My Favorite Once Again Nut Butter For Smoothie Bowls:

I think I would have to say my favorite for the smoothie bowl topping is the cashew. The cashew butter is creamy and smooth. It is not chunky or crunchy. It feels like dessert, yet is so much healthy fat and protein. This cashew butter tastes so fresh – I can just spoon it out from the jar and eat it or put it in my smoothie bowl for fun texture and added thickness!

The ingredients in the cashew butter is just organic cashews and organic sunflower oil (5%-8% added for enhancing the spreadability). There is no other ingredients! No sugar, to preservatives! This makes me so happy!
