Holiday Party Catering: Souplantation Sweet Tomatoes Part 1

I could talk all day about how much I enjoy the all you can eat soup and salad bar at Souplantation & Sweet Tomatoes. It’s easy to fill my plate with a heaping pile of fresh lettuce and all of the healthy choice fixins’!

Salad Bar SouplanationYou do know where I am talking about, right? The all-you-can-eat restaurant buffet? The casual setting dining that serves fresh and healthy eats? I know what you might be thinking, “Usually buffets worry me, so many fatty choices, so much temptation to over-eat”. But, I am telling you – this place is different– it’s isn’t your ordinary buffet! First of all, they have healthy items to choose from: salads, soups, pasta, a bakery and fresh fruit. Secondly, the prices are fantastic! My husband and I both eat for under $20 for dinner!

Souplantation DinnerAs much as I love dining at Souplantation & Sweet Tomatoes – it never even occurred to me that they would cater! But of course they do! They are the perfect option for a healthy company catered lunch or a catered holiday party. They are definitely more original than the typical sub sandwich catering!

To say the least I am thrilled they cater and I am thrilled they offered to cater my Halloween party if I write about my experiences. Awesome! I already know I love dining at the restaurant and I LOVE the food, now I am looking forward to seeing what my experience is with the catering service.

So far –  I put in the request for catering at my local Sweet Tomatoes & Souplantation. A few days later the manager contacted me directly about the date and the menu. I was a little nervous because I was scheduling it only two weeks in advanced and hoped it wasn’t too late for a party of about 25 guests! Nope! No problem, he was eager to help me with the details.

He emailed me a few days after with his ideas for the menu and asked me if I wanted to make any changes. The menu looked great to me – it consisted of fresh salads, made-from-scratch soups, hot-tossed pastas, freshly baked breads and muffins, fresh fruit, and more!

Oh can you tell I am so excited for our catering? With this amazing menu, of fresh, high quality ingredients and made from scratch items – how could my guests be disappointed? They are going to love it as much as I do! I can’t wait to share it with those few that haven’t tried it yet!

*I’ll keep you updated on my catering experience and the party pictures in my next post!*
