Cooking from scratch isn’t always practical with our hectic lives. Do you ever find yourself too tired to cook? Maybe the last thing you want to do is go to the grocery store and cook after a long day?
While I would love to tell you I make all meals fresh ALL the time, I can’t lie to you. Some nights I just can’t bother with cooking. On those nights, I need healthy meals that are ready to go. There are some good choices out there and some not so good choices when it comes to ready-made meals.

I tested out the Good Food Made Simple entree meals the other day, and they are a WIN! But maybe you are skeptical. You might be thinking “Is there really such a thing as frozen food that’s healthy?”
I was hesitant too. After testing out and learning more about Good Food Made Simple. I’d say these are a good option for healthy frozen meals and here is why…
I am an avid ingredient list reader. After reading all the ingredients on a number for the Good Food Made Simple frozen meals, I was happy to see only real ingredients listed. None of that funny business. There are no artificial preservatives, flavors, colors or sweeteners. The label includes ingredients that are clean and wholesome.
I prefer to eat organic whenever I can. I never expected to find frozen meals would be do delicious, affordable and organic! That’s right Good Food Made Simple entrees are made with organic ingredients! All of the entree meals are made with a minimum of 70% organic ingredients. How awesome is that?
Humanely Raised Meat
The meats in Good Food Made Simple have no antibiotics ever, no added hormones or extra animal byproducts. When animals are happier, the food is healthier. It is just good practice to treat animals well, especially when they are in the food you enjoy. They use only cage-free eggs too!
With Good Food Made Simple, I don’t feel guilty about taking a night off from cooking from scratch. Good Food Made Simple is convenient – just pop it in the microwave – but doesn’t compromise taste or eating clean! Typically, I would say be weary of prepacked foods, but I found that Good Food Made Simple has a lot to offer. Their meals fit my bill of healthy eating!
I am not kidding, there wasn’t a meal I didn’t LOVE. I’ve tried five of the Good Food Made Simple entrees so far and loved them all! (Thai Style Chicken, Chicken Pad Thai, Chicken Black Bean, Steak Black Bean and Chicken Enchiladas Verdes.) All YUM.
Good Food Made Simple products include breakfast burritos, breakfast entrees, kid’s meals, side dishes and entree dinners. Find Good Food Made Simple in the frozen aisle of the grocery store (huge selection at Target)!
