I participated in a campaign on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for Starburst. I received product samples and a promotional item as a thank you for developing this Halloween Jewelry Craft.
Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas… yay the holidays are near!
There is a special excitement that overtakes me when October hits. So much to look forward to in the next few months! One of those things is Halloween celebrations! I love going to Halloween parties. I love dressing up and all of the fun decorations. I don’t like scary though – I like more of the fun and festive decor!
Whether we have our annual Halloween party, or go to someone else’s – I’ve now got a fun and festive bracelet for the event! Seriously, I just made a cute Halloween bracelet in less than five minutes! So easy and so perfect for Halloween!
If you want to make your own Halloween Jewelry too… here is my simple tutorial of how to make this Halloween Bracelet out of Starburst Candy Corn!
- Starburst Candy Corn
- Plastic Water Bottle
- Ribbon
- Scissors
- Hot Glue Gun + Hot Glue Stick
First, take a water bottle, and cut it into small rounds. I cut mine into 1 inch bracelets for the appearance of thick bracelet bangles, rather than thin wrist bracelets. Make sure to fit it on your wrist, just to make sure it fits.Next, cut your ribbon or fabric to fit the circumference of the bracelet.
- Then, using a hot glue gun, glue the ribbon on the plastic bottle bracelet. Circling the bracelet completely. I only needed three small dots on each end.Now comes the fun part! Take the Starburst Candy Corn and play with designs. Once you choose your design, start gluing! Add one dab of hot glue to the back of the Starburst Candy Corn and press the candy corn on to the ribbon. Continue until your pattern is completed.
- Ideas: You could make flowers, lines, squares, etc. All done! Now wear the candy corn bracelet to work for some Halloween spirit and of course wear your homemade jewelry to all the Halloween bashes you’ve got on your calendar!
