Raise your hand if you are thrilled that the weekend is here! I sure am! It has been a busy week around our household with dog sitting, jobs, gardening and everyday life. I am hoping to catch up a little this weekend. Ok, and have a little fun too. Do you have any big plans?
This Friday Favorites is dedicated to some brands I love through and through, some new products I’ve recently feel in love with, and some things I can’t live without! What do you want to try most?
There are a lot of skincare and beauty brands out there. For me, I want to be picky about what I use on my body and face. I don’t want to support brands that test on animals. I don’t use products that contain gluten. Now, I am even shifting to all organic beauty products. They are better in so many ways. Pangea Organics has natural, wild crafted and certified organic ingredients. They have a range of products that smell amazing and are all non GMO!
I am a huge fan of this Boulder, CO based brand and I highly recommend them for organic skin care, body care and lip care. Check them out at Pangeaorganics.com
I love these superfood chia bars! From Coconut to Acai Berry, I have yet to try a flavor I didn’t like! I brought these bars with me for a weekend trip to the lake. We went sailing with some friends of ours. After a long day in the sun, we were famished. I shared my Health Warrior Bars – and they were a huge hit. The kids loved them so much they kept asking for more! Dropping them in the sand, picking them back up and eating them all sandy! LOL!
These bars are low in sugar and full or fiber and protein. They are my favorite snack bar! Have you tried these?
Designer Sunglasses For Less
I found the best website for ordering cheap designer sunglasses! Of course I can’t keep it to myself ya’ll! SmartBuyGlasses.com sells leading brands like Ray-Ban, Tom Ford, Kate Spade, Gucci, Prada, Michael Kors, Armani, and more. These designer sunglasses are much lower in price than you would find in stores. I am a big fan of the Kate Spade Darya Eyeglasses I got from them. They are the highest quality for not nearly the retail price!
BFree – Wheat and Gluten Free Bread
I tried BFree gluten free breads a few months ago. I prefer it to others for a number of reasons. First, it is cheaper than other brands. I can find it easily in the bread department of King Soopers (Kroger) and every time I compare it is priced under the competitor. Secondly, some gluten free products have hurt my stomach in the past. I don’t find the BFree breads do this. Lastly, they feel and taste so similar to real bread! I love the soft and fluffy textures. Now, it is the only gluten free bread brand I buy!
Kelley Expandable Garden Hose
I live in the garden and my yard in the summer. I am always trimming plants, pulling weeds and harvesting goodies from my organic garden. Having a durable hose around is a must. My favorite kind of hoses are expandable flexible hoses. I like that they are less bulky and light weight. I have noticed my expandable hoses in the past only last a season or two. So when I read the reviews on the Kelley General Expandable Flexible Garden Water Hose I was excited to try it out. It is kink free, indestructible, has aviation aluminum corrosion resistant fittings and a double layer latex core threading. You can find it on Amazon for $24.95.
Heinz Pitmaster Collection BBQ Sauces
Kids might be going back to school, but Summer isn’t over! There is still plenty of time for BBQ! The weather is warm, and we use our grill almost nightly. One of my favorite chicken recipes this summer is the Memphis-Style Sweet and Spicy BBQ Chicken. It only take a total of 40 minutes and is the best barbecue chicken! Here is the recipe for the grilled chicken using HEINZ BBQ Sauce Memphis Sweet & Spicy.
