Disclosure: I was provided a sample of probiotics in exchange for this article about probiotics and immunity.
One supplement that improves your health and boosts you immune system?
The famous good bacteria – probiotics.
Probiotics improve your immune system. I found that taking probiotics were very helpful for me and my IBS. I learned about the helpful bacteria after a doctor visit where he analyzed what my body was lacking. He suggested vitamin B complex, magnesium, D3 and probiotics. I have been following his guidelines for supplements and feel like I am improving my IBS symptoms slowly but surely.
Before I started taking a probiotic, I found myself sick about every other month. Now, even though it is flu season, I have only been sick once in the last six months. That is when I really started to do some research on probiotics and the immunity connection.
I found article after article about probiotics supporting your body functions and therefore strengthening your immune system. Probiotics add good bacteria to your gut and help fight the bad bacteria. Many sources say that your gut is directly related to your immune health, and that is why probiotics are such a great supplement.
Of course, there are many factors to take into consideration when you are considering your immune system health – diet, exercise, age, stress, supplements, and other factors. It is important to be balanced in these lifestyle factors as well as take the right supplements.
