When my lifestyle is healthy, I am able to avoid the cold and flu season easily. It seems so simple… but so often I slip and – in turn my wellness goes down the drain. Slacking in my health means I forget to take vitamins daily, I skip exercising and I chow on sugary food. And those are the times I get sick.
But this season, I am DETERMINED to not be sick! I have been seeing my friends get demolished by the flu this year. I am not sure if it is a super flu or what – but it appears everyone around me is sick, sick, sick! This is why I am working on my health more than ever!
My main focuses have been taking my daily vitamins and eating healthy. It takes just a few seconds out of my day and really makes a difference in my health and keeps me from catching what everyone else is catching!
I rely on my multi-vitamin, probiotics, fish oil and vitamin D, each and every day. Sometimes I will throw others into the mix, like garlic pills, vitamin b complex, magnesium and vitamin C (all for different reasons).
Here is my quick vitamin run-down:
- Multi-Vitamin (daily) for overall health.
- Probiotics (daily) for gut health and digestion.
- Fish Oil (daily) for inflammation and immunity.
- Vitamin D (daily) for nerves and immunity.
- Garlic (as needed) for bacteria, sinus, infection.
- Vitamin B (as needed) for brain stimulation and energy.
- Magnesium (as needed) for anxiety and stress.
- Vitamin C (as needed) for extra boost of immunity.
I am a dedicated vitamin taker! I really believe that eating healthy and supplementing vitamins makes the biggest difference in staying healthy, strong and being your best self!
That being said, Vitamin D is the latest addition to my daily routine. I never took Vitamin D (outside of what was in my Multi-Vitamin). I assumed that I got enough Vitamin D by living in Colorado, after all we get more sun than any other state! Well, I was wrong.
After telling my doctor I felt healthy, but was a little on edge and anxious, he suggested Vitamin D! Now I worry less about things I cannot control, and I think the Vitamin D was the missing link!
Just the other day, I ran out of a few things, including my Vitamin D supplements, so I headed to Walmart to grab some. I found a selection of Nature Made Vitamins by the pharmacy and health section. I’ve always liked Nature Made Vitamins for their purity and quality.
When I got home I noticed on my bottle there was a tag that announced the 30-day healthy habit builder and a chance to win $5,000! Just a few minutes later, I was signed up for the Nature Made 30-day Healthy Habit Builder Program. It’s easy.
Along with the challenge, there is the Nature Made Daily Boost program which sends you daily inspiration and information to help you meet your goals! Plus, even if you don’t win the grand prize, if you complete the 30-day program you will earn a $5 VUDU movie credit. With these incentives and motivation, there is not excuse not to join the challenge!
We take Nature Made vitamins in our house, too! I love them and have always been really happy with the results.
Your vitamin routine is very similar to mine, think my periodic cleansing helps even more 🙂
I take my vitamins every day. They are good for my health.
I drink my vitamins now daily because my Mom makes me hahaha. She says that I’m 35 so I need to be more careful with my health.
Wow that’s a lot of pills, but if you think you need them.
I make sure I drink my daily dose of vitamin C and that’s pretty much it. I’ve never had to drink this much vitamins before. But I understand, prevention is always better than cure!
I’ve use nature made all the time. My daily is the multi-vitamin an vitamin C mostly in the Winfrey months. Try to prevent colds thanks for sharing

I do take vitamins everyday too. Thanks for sharing!
I have to take B12 and D because my blood work always comes back too low. Especially B12 but not anemia low thanks to taking a daily supplement. I’ll have to look into the others!
I take vitamins daily too. I do calcium, vitamin d, biotin, and vitamin c. I’ll look into the magnesium next time I’m at the store. thanks
I signed up for the Nature Made 30-day Healthy Habit Builder Program a couple of weeks ago. I’ve been taking Nature Made supplements for some time now.
I only take vitamin c as of now but for a while i also took a women’s one a day vitamin
Sweet this is our Vitamins too we’ve been using it for like years. One thing I like about this brand is very effective and they even have a sale on our local store we grab as many as we can.
It’s funny how such a simple addition to your diet can make such a big difference!
I just started caring about my vitamin routine and I have to say, It’s only been a week but they really do make all the difference. Thanks for sharing your routine!
Nature Made offers such a wide variety of vitamins. I take a lot of vitamins, and I use Nature Made often.
I always forget to take my vitamins. I have a bottle of Vitamin D that went bad (expired). I also try to go for a brand that will have more than one vitamin in a capsule. That way I only have to remember to take one and not a bunch.
I always try to find the chewables because the pills can be so much bigger.
I do take my vitamins though.
Your vitamin routine is very similar to mine! I need to start a cleansing!
We’re Nature Made users for years. I don’t take that many vitamins though. Thanks for sharing!
