Let me tell you a little about my life…
My husband and I met while he lived in Colorado and I lived in Alaska. We were far from neighbors. Our entire dating relationship was long distance. While we were engaged I lost my job. Since we were eventually going to be in Colorado together, I didn’t see a point in finding a new job in Alaska – so we decided to ELOPE!
We shocked our family, and not-so-much our friends. All we wanted to do was to be together. We went from long distance to together everyday.
It was perfect for us.
But the one thing about not having a wedding is missing out on some major fun shopping events for your wedding registry!! I always thought that browsing the stores with those scanners would be a blast!!
How fun would it have been to make a registry with my spouse-to-be? From big items like couches, to small items like non stick cookware!
But instead… we eloped, so we had no wedding registry!! So, if I was going to make a list of a few items that I wish we would have had a bridal registry for it would be:
Bridal Registry Kitchen Must Haves:
Serving platters
Red/white wine glass set (matching)
Non stick pans
Stand mixer
Casserole dishes
Over the last two years we’ve bought almost everything else for our kitchen or we kept stuff from what we had in college. We buy small things from second hand stores or online. These are just the items we still don’t have. It takes a long time to stock a kitchen… that’s why you should not forget to put these must-haves on your registry!!
