Back to School with Master Lock
I trust Master Lock. I always have. I think that they are a great brand for padlocks and I trust their security. They have two new revolutionary locks that I just love: The 1500iD Speed Dial Set-Your-Own Combination Lock and The 1590D Precision Dial Set-Your-Own Combination Lock.
1500iD Speed Dial Set-Your-Own Combination
The 1500iD Speed Dial lock features a first-of-its-kind design that opens on directional movements – up, down, left and right (instead of the normal rotary dial). This design helps speed up the process, making it faster to open the lock. But don’t worry! Although it is faster, it is still secure! The lock is customizable and easy to re-set to any combination of movements in the sequence. If you prefer a more traditional method, the lock includes adhesive letters, numbers, colors, shapes and symbols that you can apply to the lock. You can get this lock in a variety of colors including: red, blue, white and black with chrome. My favorite thing about this lock is the fact it can be used for the visually impaired, since you don’t need to see the dial, it is simple a set of movements!
1590D Precision Dial Set-Your-Own Combination
The 1590D Precision Dial is similar to the traditional rotary dial. You can choose your own combination on this lock with both numbers and LETTERS! This lock is also resettable and includes a reset tool that ensures if you forget your lock combination you aren’t doomed. I love this! There has been a few locks in my past that I have had to throw out because I simply couldn’t remember the code! I am so glad that they have thought of the solution for this! You can get this lock in some fun colors: pink, black, blue and green.
These locks are easy to use and perfect for the student going back to school. Both locks are secure for the student, since they feature an anti-shim technology, which deters break-ins. The 1500iD Speed Dial and the 1590D Precision Dial are like the new, cooler version for Master Lock. They are designed to make students’ lives easier and they save them time compared to the old-school rotary lock.
The 1500iD Speed Dial and the 1590D Precision Dial are both available at retailers nationwide. They retail around $7.99-$8.99.
You can enter to win both of these locks for back to school!

Resettable combination locks have a combination that is assigned by the owner of the lock. Therefore, Master Lock does not have record of the combination that the owner set. The lock cannot be reset unless it is in the open position. If your lock is attached to something, you will need to call a locksmith for removal. Please note that Master Lock does not reimburse for Locksmith services and/or fees.

The Master Lock Company’s first padlocks were produced in a single room of a small commercial building, which consisted of a drill press, a grinder, a punch press and five employees. Now that’s what I call determination!
