Disclosure: I was provided dog puzzle toys from Planet Dog.
Are you looking for a way to challenge your dog?
If you are like me and you are always in search of toys to occupy your dog’s attention, well I’ve found a great online shop that can help with our smart – yet often bored pups. The store that has puzzle toys for dogs, games for dogs, squeaky toys and more is Planet Dog!
Daisy, my German Sheppard-Husky mix gets bored easily. She constantly wants to be doing something. I imagine if she was a child, she would be the child that is always getting into trouble because of her curiosity and intelligence. I have a hard time keeping my dog entertained. There is only so much time I can take out of my day to play with her, walk her and exercise her. So I went on a search for dog activity toys and found Planet Dog.
Planet Dog has been bringing people and dogs together since 1997. Their main purpose is to bring innovative, premium dog toys to the market. Beyond inventing, developing and marketing great dog toys, they also have donated over $800,000 to the Planet Dog Foundation since 2012! Planet Dog is more than just a dog toy store, it has a heart! I just loved learning about the company and building a relationship with them!
Anyway, this is a dog toy review, right? So how did the dog toys test?
Putting the Toys to the Test
The Orbee-Tuff® Snoop®
Orbee-Tuff® Snoop® is unlike any dog toy that Daisy had before. It is a squishy toy with a deep crevice that pops out so you can fill it with treats, and pops back in so it becomes a brain stimulating dog toy.
Daisy loves playing with her new squishy orange toy. She bats it around, digs her nose in it, and tries as hard as she can to get her beloved dog treats out (she gets really excited about the planet dog eats treats!). This toy is fun to play both inside and outside the house. It keeps her interested for awhile and makes her work hard for the dog treats.
It is easy to clean with hot water, shake and rinse. It is non-toxic, recyclable and made in the U.S.A. The puzzle dog toy comes in translucent blue and orange, the purchase price for the Orbee Tuff Snoop is $17.95, which seems like a good deal for lots of dog entertainment!
This challenging dog toy can also be used in conjunction with any of the 2.5” Orbee-Tuff® balls (which are also stuffed with treats) making this toy even more of a creative toy. Together they are – double-puzzle, double-fun.
Orbee-Tuff® Glow for Good Ball
Planet Dog has a number of tuff balls, including the Orbee-Tuff Glow for Good ball. This dog toy is extra special because 100% of the profits from the sale of this best-selling dog toy go directly to the Planet Dog Foundation (PDF), Planet Dog’s non-profit arm which helps to fund training, placement & support of service dogs helping people in need. That makes my heart happy.
This toy is about the size of a tennis ball, and fits the Wood Chuck ball tosser, which means you can chuck it far for lots of fun chasing! The Orbee-Tuff® Glow for Good Ball is very versatile, working with many toys on Planet dog, or of course it is a fun ball by itself too! It is durable, bouncy and has a lovely minty aroma (seriously!) The Orbee-Tuff® Glow for Good Ball 2.5" diameter and sells on Planet Dog for $11.95
