In a poll among my friends, it is easy to see laptops and tablets now overrule desktop computers. We all seem to have a laptop (or two!) now, and it goes with us everywhere. It is no wonder either, they are so lightweight, easy to travel with and can be used for work, school or personal purposes on-the-go.
My laptop has totally changed the way I now purchase purses and bags. I inspect every bag just to verify I can fit my laptop in them. Additionally, I want adequate space and padding to keep my cherished device safe. It is obvious that companies have caught on too, they are designing more bags with padded laptop pocket sections.
With school now back in session, you might quickly realize your bag just isn’t cutting it for storing all of your techie items, and having room for everything else. If you are on the lookout for a new backpack to fit all of your electronics needs, I have found the PERFECT fit!

This specific Targus backpack was so functional to my electronic needs. There was a place for everything I regularly carry with me (laptop, iPod, phone, headphones) and more space for other items (water bottle, wallet, notebook). The pockets were padded for my laptop and tablet, the soft lining kept them secure.
The media pocket with the built-in cord and headphone jack was an awesome touch. I love that there was a specific spot for my iPod and I didn’t need to fumble with it in my jeans pocket. While I am not the type who wears their headphones 24/7 (unlike many kids these days!), I knew this feature would be great for those that do listen to their music players non-stop. This feature is very relative to the times.
When I do use this portion on occasion, I like it because I don’t have to jam my music player into my pocket. There isn’t a lot of room in women’s jean pockets anyway! I can keep my iPod secure in my backpack, and not have cords everywhere while using the hook up adapter that is built in to the bag.
This bag has pockets galore! There are plenty of multi-purpose pockets for all of those little things you take with you too – USB cards, chap stick, car keys, books, wallet, etc.. The pockets are well placed and keep everything else – all the non-electronics– neatly organized and separated from your laptop or tablet. I found there was more than enough extra storage space in the front bottom, front top, and two side pockets for all the additional items I like to carry with me, which is cumbersome at times! 
With this backpack, I was able to carry all things I tote around with me on a daily basis – laptop, phone, iPod, headphones, small makeup bag, water bottle, notebook, day planner, car keys, small everything else kit, and a sweater. The backpack had a compartment to store each of my items securely, and had enough room that I did not need an additional handbag or purse.
Having a compartment for every accessory was impressive, but one would think in order to do so, this bag would need to be pretty large and obnoxious. When actually it is not at all! The Exterior Dimensions18.3”H x 12.6”W x 6.1”L and the Interior Dimensions:15.25" x 1.65" x 10.5". It is a typical backpack size, if not on the smaller end. Without all of my goodies inside the backpack – it weighs 2.93lbs. When I add all of my stuff to it, the weight goes up significantly, but the comfort is not sacrificed. I can wear this all day and it is not uncomfortable or irritating, this is because the Legend IQ has two padded adjustable shoulder straps and a padded back panel.
One more thing, which may seem minor, but is one of my very favorite features of the bag — is the fact it sits upright on it’s own. When I take it off and set it down, it doesn’t flop over. I can set it on the ground and it will stand upright or I can lay it on its side. What I originally thought was a small or unimportant feature, is actually one of my favorite features – now that I realize it looks nicer, and ensures that my contents don’t get damaged when I set it down! It is just another special aspect of the Legend IQ backpack.
