Now, I am not usually a big sappy person over celebrities. But Donna Summer was a fabulous singer who leaves me with many fond memories with friends.

I remember dancing with my girlfriends in middle school to her "Last Dance" song, we would be very, very, silly. I remember my mom driving my 4 friends and I through the center of an outdoor mall while singing Donna Summer’s famous songs! We thought we were so cool with the windows down, blasting her tunes and singing at the top of our little 12 year old lungs. . . It was a fun memory of being young and silly.

I was very sad to hear of the news that today, Donna Summer passed away at age 63, from her battle with breast cancer. Rest in Peace, Donna Summer. I smile as I watch many YouTube videos of your epic disco songs like "Last Dance," "Hot Stuff," "She Works Hard for the Money" and "Bad Girls."
