I love smoothies. Did you know that doctors are now saying to drink smoothies before bed? I just heard this on the news yesterday! I am really eager to find out more about these science studies on smoothie drinking!
Anyway, I have a delicious and simple strawberry banana smoothie recipe that might be my easiest and quickest smoothie yet! It only requires 4 ingredients and is as basic as smoothies can get!
If you love strawberry and banana together, you’re gonna love this smoothie!
Simple Strawberry Banana Smoothie
First, gather your ingredients. You are going to need strawberries (1 cup), banana (1 cup – about 1 whole banana), Almond Breeze Almondmilk (1 cup – flavor of your choice) and yogurt (1 cup – best with plain, vanilla or strawberry flavors).
Note: I like to use frozen strawberries and banana slices because the smoothie ends up chilled this way. If you have them frozen – that’s great – if not, it is no biggie.
Add your frozen ingredients to the blender.
Next add the yogurt and milk. I use dairy-free yogurt and dairy-free Almond Breeze Almondmilk. I choose Blue Diamond Almond Breeze Almondmilk because I am sensitive to dairy and it is absolutely delicious. It is a dairy-free alternative that tastes great!
Blend ingredients together until smooth. You’ll know when it is well blended when the strawberry seeds are all blended. (Because nobody likes strawberry seeds in their smoothie!)
That is all there is to this tasty strawberry banana smoothie! Just pour and enjoy!

Strawberry Banana Smoothie
Ingredients
- 1 Cup Frozen or Fresh Strawberries
- 1 Cup Frozen of Fresh Banana
- 1 Cup Almond Breeze Almondmilk Flavor of Choice
- 1 Cup Yogurt Dairy Free or Greek - plain, vanilla, strawberry
Instructions
- Add to blender and blend!
- Pour into smoothie glass.
- Enjoy!
