nomorerack-logoI have been reading about “nomorerack.com” for months now. Literally, it is a website that seems to have popped up overnight! It is raved about and loved by many bloggers that I follow! Not to mention it has been featured on some big television shows like The View, Martha Stewart Show, and The Talk. Heck, nomorerack reviews are even in the papers (USA Today, The Miami Herald and more).

But like everything else I review, I wanted to make sure that it wasn’t a nomorerack scam. So, I checked it out for myself and got the full story on nomorerack.com.

It is December after all, and I have begun my shopping madness. I decided I needed to take a further look at the deal site, nomorerack.com. When I first came upon the website, I was asked for my email and to set up an account… ok, fine. I did so only because I knew it was probably going to be worth it. Because typically I don’t like filing in my email right away.

Shortly after the quick set up I found deals and deals! I am telling you these deals were impressive. The best part was that the deals were for relevant items, not your typical junk items! These deals were for name brands! Purses, leather boots and more… can you say “add to cart”?

So, while finding out more about the site, I learned that nomorerack posts 8 great deals each day, but they go fast! One way to make sure I can get the deal that day is I get a heads up email and then I sign in to nomorerack.com right as the deals are posted! You can also get sneak peeks on their Facebook page. It is fun to see what deals are going to be posted next!

        Awful customer service! Won’t respond directly to any questions (it appears to be somewhat automated), have a third party that answers their phone lines who know next to nothing, and only care about their image online, thus erasing every negative comment off of Facebook (watch their page for just five minutes and you will see so many negative comments go up and be immediately erased). Hilarious. Some nice products and some arrive without a problem, but their lack of correspondence and lack of epxlation of weird shipping procedures is ridiculous.

        I know I’ll Never purchase anything from you guys ever again. I placed an order on April 1st fedex Gave me a tracking # saying item is to be shipped on april 9th. It is now April 22nd and my item has yet to be give to fedex to delivery!

        This is crazy! I believe what’s happening is you’re filling orders with no stock on hand making a profit of of holding the consumers money making interest off of it!

        I’ve sent in 5 emails regarding the issue the last one asking for a real reply as opposed to the forum letters. Like I expected your 5th reply was exactly a forum reply.

        Please send me your phone # I’d like to speak with someone giving you yet another chance to Yelm me when to truly expect my package prior to me reporting no more rack to the bbb and the ftc along with the pa attorneys general office.

        A really frustrated 1st and last time customer.

      No more rack is a horrible website. They send you broken products, then when you try to get your money back you have to jump through hoops. Additionally all there products are made with really poor quality materials. If you are thinking about going to them…save yourself the headache and throw your money in the trash.

      I agree HUGE HUGE scam and you can’t reach anyone to help you and you get a HUGE runaround. I reported to BBB and contacting my credit card company stating fraud. Terrible place DONT USE THEM!!!!

    Contrary to what Alyssa had to say, I have found many wonderful things on No More Rack. And I have bought jewelry, pet supplies, and more for about as long as this site has been selling things. Once I only got half of my order. I contacted Customer Service, they investigated, and the amount for the missing article was credited to my account. If you haven’t used them, as perhaps the previous writier hasn’t (I don’t know), give them a try. I don’t think you will be disappointed.

    I have been a member of nomorerack for about 3 months now. I think most of positive reviews come from people who are not savvy shoppers or are technologically challenged. Most of the items have inflated “retail” prices so it looks as though you getting a good deal when in reality the nomorerack price is actually higher than the price you would pay at your local discount/warehouse store. Electronics offered by nomorerack are most often either discontinued products, cheap knock-offs or obsolete technology. My advice is to spend at few minutes shopping around at your local retail stores, you will do better.

    Last comment, be aware shipping from nomorerack is incredibly slow, the items I have purchased averaged 4-5 weeks from date of order to receipt.

          OMG.. The comment is so automated. I unfortunately didn’t check out reviews before I made any purchases and am so worried now.. I did noticed the completely inflated retail prices as I checked prices and reviews on products. I only purchased items that were cheaper.. Well basically it was only a few dollars on the items. Not much of a savings but a buck is a buck. I was just trying it out. I did however use paypal as I always do because they are great at getting your funds back.. To all you buyers out there, USE PAYPAL… It will protect you in the long run.. As I didn’t spend much and I did use paypal, I will wait and see. I am sure it will be all screwed up but if products are not received or they are damaged I will try and contact company once.. If I get the run around I will file a claim with pay pal… There are NO Real BARGAINS on this site.

      I am always amazed at the level one can stoop when they are wielding a keyboard and not F2F. I think most ppl are extremely savvy and intelligent shoppers. Please tell me who it helps for you to be so insulting. And by the way you may include yourself in that list of stupid shoppers. If they are so bad certainly you would be aware of that the first time you bought something, but you say items so you have shopped a few times. Wow, that makes you either a hypocrite or extremely intellectually challenged. Finally, I think the worst advice would be to take a few minutes to shop around local retail stores. One can do better any number of ways…Ebay, Craigslist, Newspaper, pawn shops. Didn’t your mother teach you any manners? Like if you can’t say anything nice, shut the heck up.

    I have been using Nomorerack since last year. I had no problems except for the recent Order #2426595, for a lantern. When it arrived, underneath it there was a warning “This product may contain chemicals known to the State of California to cause cancer and/or birth defects or other reproductive harm.”

    I would like my money back – $13 as I am afraid to use it. I don’t want to send it back due to the mailing cost. Please reply to this

      I’ve worked in e-mail customer service for a different company and if there are frequent e-mails regarding the same topics, most agents use a generic response. Just easier than typing the same things over and over…but I would think they have more customer service reps than this Samuel person.

    I recently ordered a bedspread set from nomorerack, and then saw a few deals that seemed “too good to be true” and did a little research. Long story short, I panicked and canceled my order. I didn’t want to wait 2-4 weeks to find out if I’d been had or not. I was able to speak to someone in customer service immediately to get this taken care of and the charges have been reversed. I don’t think this company is a “scam”….I believe they are drop shippers (they order the items as orders are received vs having a stocked warehouse, which explains the long waiting times and out of stocks.) In their defense, I have ordered things from major department stores with that long of a turnaround as well. I’ve had two orders from JCP not arrive after a month only to be told “out of stock”, when typically I receive orders from them in 5 days. In any case, my issue was addressed immediately, and I wouldn’t hesitate to try another order at some point with the understanding that ordering from them is not going to be like ordering from my Amazon Prime account. Keep in mind that outside of “canceled orders”, it appears their refund policy for returns is “credit only”.

    I also have to agree with the comment that says the “savings” are inflated. Its sort of like when Kohls runs sales…..half off is the price it should have been to begin with. The bed in a bag set I ordered was listed at a retail of $200, but I know it’s one of those $80 sets you can purchase at places like Target or Walmart. I still would have saved a few dollars at the price it was offered at, but if people are expecting a set that really does retail at $200…they will be disappointed with the quality. That’s not to say they don’t stock some high end things..just that in many cases the price point is definitely inflated.

    In short…..I believe that this company is a drop shipper, and are probably disorganized or are dealing with a disorganized 3rd party supplier. If they aren’t a drop shipper, based on overall internet feedback…they have some major issues and aren’t going to survive long. The customer service attention on my small issue was prompt and was resolved quickly. Like I said, I will probably try them again on a few small things and see how it goes.

      I have looked at this site for the first time today and came here to see just what my problems may be that I RUN INTO! I Do see high end items cheaper than Im 100% sure I can get them for-MUCH cheaper. you cannot buy 1600 count egyp.sheet sets(king size) for 29.99. Last SALE we paid over 80,think maybe even closer to 90. So, as I Agree fully that many of the items I have “cross referenced” and found they were not such a hot deal…I do believe you can save if you are watching continually.
      Customer Service is what i am afraid of. I wanted to order some Christmas items and now I am afraid to-it may not come on time???

      I also think the prices are inflated. Some are not but they had a no name led tv that was retailing for $600 something. I saw one on sale for less than their on sale price at Walmart – $250 So before buying I’d check around at other places first. Some items were cheaper but some were not at all.

      Can you give me the number you called to even speak to someone. I can’t seem tk even get their number so I can find out about my item I ordered. They charged my cc but I have no product. Companies are nit allowed to charge until the item ships….I have no shipping info and no product.
      I took a chance with this company and I knew the prices were too good to be true….and I am an avid internet shopper and wasn’t expecting the best quality but I was expecting to actually receive something.

    I just came across this site about 2 weeks ago. I emailed my email and FB family & friends to ask if any had heard of them. I received one reply from a family member. I placed a order about 2 weeks ago; and within 2-3 days I rec’d an email stating that my order had been shipped. Within a week I rec’d my first item. In the email it gives the tacking info, so I can keep up with the delivery day(s).

    I love my handbag! The quality appears to be top-rated and the price would have been more in a department store. The only thing I do not care for s that all items looks as if they will be shipping separately.

    I have recommended this company to my family & friends. They can be their own judge.

    I recently purchased 8 items from this website spending $230. I only got 6 items, 5 of which were not like on their website. The website stated “diamond accented” charms, but there are not. They have black/white paint on them. I also ordered a .50 ct diamond neckless, but it looks like anything but diamond. It’s very sheer and has scratches on it.
    Overall very poor quality, plus they charge a lot for shipping. They charge per item and they send them all in one bag. So more rip-off.
    So their prices are very low, so the quality. It’s not just the poor quality, it;s the fact that they tell customers they sell diamonds etc, but they are not.
    Their website need to be shut down.
    I sent them a few emails, but no answer yet. I am ready to file complaints against this crappy company with BBB, the Attorney General and IC3 which is FBI and takes care of the online scams.
    I will never order anything from them.
    Run away from those scumbags.

    This is first time I have ever ordered online. I have received an email from nomoreracks.com stating that my packaged had been shipped and was given a tracking number and an expected delivery date. However, when the date came and passed I called UPS and asked about my package, they told me they havent picked anything up with that number. My sister in law was given the same tracking number as me and we have yet to recieve anything and this order was placed 3 weeks ago. If anyone has a telephone number for you Customer service PLEASE share!

I had order some boots on 11/26/12 and it is still processing. have received emails stating they will guarentee my order will be here before christmas. well we will see. I have called and called and still it is processing. the people who answer the phones dont know anything. but you can try

    I have been shopping for awhile with this company and have not had a problem. The shipping may be a little slow on some items, but it does state that it may take 2-3 weeks for delivery. However, I have received my items earlier than mentioned.

    The number to nomorerack is 1-800-538-9798. I placed any order with them at the beginning of the month. They said if you order before 10 dec it is promised to be here by the 21 of dec. I got a shipping number to track but it just tells me that the labels have been made that was back on the 6 of dec now here it is the 18th and they still have not been shipped.

    I have been shopping with no more rack for a year now and I love them. Everything I ordered came as expected. They are slow shippers though. It takes a little while to get what you ordered but I have been very happy. I ordered swavarski earrings for myself and my bf and they were authentic and lovely. I ordered the Sony bloggie and we love it…. That actually came super fast. I ordered so many items and we have been happy I don’t understand how come people have a slight issue and automatically they say scam. That gives legit businesses bad names. Oh well…. I’m happy! Lol

      I ordered a swarovski bracelet, which came in a reasonable time so then I ordered 5 sets of swarovski earrings and necklaces. I got 2 after 3 weeks n d they were NOT swarovski as they claimed it looked like jewelery for a doll. It said it would have an authenticity card with it and it didn’t, the first bracelet did and looked very nice, I ended up emailing them and got an automated response and when I would respond back, they avoided my questions as if they didn’t understand me. Customer service was useless and I will never order from them again. The second order wad garbage and I couldn’t get them returned so I gave them to my nieces to play with bc they were so cheap

    I purchased a 7″ tablet for daughter for Christmas from these fouls and they tell me I had 7 days to return it or at least contact them. No where in the listing for it did it say this. Nothing said I only had 7 days. I have even had paypal look into it. Thank God I paid with paypal and they are protecting me.
    DO NOT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE.
    ALSO THERE CUSTOMER SERVICE PEOPLE ARE THE RUDIST EVER.
    THEY WERE EVEN RUDE TO PAYPAL WHEN THEY CALLED THEM.

    I ordered the $29 Egyptian cotton sheets. At that price, I don’t care if they take several weeks to get here.
    I am hoping they are decent quality and I think they will be. A friends shops at no more rack and she likes the company. When I bought my leather iPhone cover and paid $70 for it, no more rack had it for $20. Wish I had saved myself the $50. I will let you all know when I get the sheets and if they are good.

      Kate, I don’t know if you received your sheets yet but be forewarned, these are NOT cotton but cheap microfiber. Read the ad or receipt description carefully. No doubt you will see “Egyptian COMFORT” – NOT cotton. Nowhere in the description is the word “cotton” found. It’s worded in a way to make you THINK it’s cotton – but it’s really NOT! In the description it even says they’re microfiber (just look down near the end in the description list)
      Apparently lots of people have fallen for this psychologically manipulative trick. Someone posted elsewhere that this sort of advertising is illegal. Not sure about that. It’s up to the customer to read the offer carefully and beware of deceptive wording. Still, it’s pretty low of any website to resort to tricks like this. One should ask Nomorerack what’s so “Egyptian” about these sheets!

    Ordered one thing, and they sent me an entirely different, less expensive, inferior product. With another order placed at about the same time, they never did send part of it. Their customer service department sent me the same pre-written emails that they have send several other people. They finally told me they would give me in-store credit, if I return the one item they did send, at my expense. What? Why should I be out any money? I did not commit bait and switch fraud! And why would I want in-store credit? After this esperience, I never want to do business with this company again! Finally, after I contacted several online complaint forums, plus Paypal and the BBB, they offered me a refund, through Paypal. So of course, I am out the Paypal fees, but at least it’s something, right?

    FYI, their BBB rating is an F. And if you google no more rack and fraud or complaint, you will find hundreds and hundreds of similar complaints. STAY AWAY!!!

    I ordered from them recently. It wasnt until I got my first email from them that i started to worry. It said my shipment has been sent, giving a tracking number that did not work. I immediately started looking at reviews and saw more negative comments than I needed. I became concerned thinking.. did I just lose $100??

    Within the next week, my order started arriving 1 package at a time. i was satisfied with what I ordered. You cant really break clothing and they were as i expected. I shop around before I buy because sometimes, ebay will have the item cheaper. My friend and I had ordered the dog bed from Nomorerack, and although i was expecting the frame to be PVC, it was small metal rods. The corner pieces did not fit the legs so they had to be taped on. My friends bed was missing the corner pieces. She sent an email about it and have yet to receive a response. I told her she is better off going to home depot or lowes, buying PVC and corners, ect. ..and it might look better! Picture showed a large dog on a bed that looked to be a lot bigger than what I recieved. Needless to say, my dog can sit on it, possibly lay on it, but wont be able to stretch out on it.

    Was I Scammed?! I dont think its a scam. More like a misrepentation of what I honestly got as far as the dog bed go. Would I order from them again? Possibly, but Id be a bit leary and order larger than what I normally would just in case (if available).

    I have read about ppl that never got their product or refund. my answer to that is Pay through Paypal using your credit card like I did. I knew that paypal would investigate and so would my discover card if there was ever an issue of an item not received.

    I ordered 3 sets of sheets (full, queen and king) when they arrived they were only 15″ deep, not deep enough for modern mattresses these days. They told me to send them back via UPS and I would get a store credit (NO REFUND). The sheets that I needed to return, the full and the queen goes to one address and the king goes to another address. I wanted to send them in the same box, but did not because of this reason. I sent the full and the queen sheets back, and it cost me $32.00 to send back to you via UPS per your request. The sheets are not worth that much shipping charge. UPS informed me that it would have only cost your company $5.99 for a return shipping ticket. It is going to cost an additional $13.00 to send the king size sheets back to the other address, when they told me had they all had the same address it would have cost about half that. I spent at least $90.00 to buy the sheets that will not fit any modern mattress, an additional $32.00 to send 2 sets back just to get a store credit. These sheets have cost me so far $120.94. This is ridiculous poor customer service since the add did not say how deep they were. I certainly would have not bought them had I known this.

    I dont understand what the big deal is honestly. I LOVE nomorerack. When i ordered from them I got my product and it worked fine. I even had people in my company order many as well and they all received them just perfectly. Everyone gets so uptight over them. one thing goes wrong and everyone complains.     This is why they are slow on trackings…

    They get these items from 3rd party suppliers at closeout prices. This is why the time frame is as long as it is. They have a chat live service the guy was “real” and helpful.. I asked questions that can not be automatically answered. The guys explained when the supplier ships the item they give them a tracking then it posts. I ordered 6 items in one order only 3 actually shipped so far that was 2 days ago. The guy said all will be shipped within the week and all will be there within 2-3 weeks. This is my first order but I do know others who have used the site and mostly positive reviews. I would buy something small “small order” to see if the company is something you like. Do not get carried away in the deal madness. I know someone who spent $230 first time purchasing. I thought she was nuts but the stuff did come pretty decent quality. As for the poor mistakes all companies have complaints especially drop shippers! Which this is what you are dealing with.. but hey deal is a deal prices are slightly inflated but still best prices around some are actual retail pricing I know because I have researched. Being a seller on sites myself I know the little tricks and marketing ploys to draw in the buyer :)

    Its hit or miss, people need to not expect so much from websites like these and obviously be careful to read specifications and such before ordering. things can obviously be flawed thats probably why they get them so cheap. someone smart would spend the extra money on any electronic items from a big store to make sure they got a warranty and invested wisely. i have ordered from no more rack many times an i am very satisfied with what i have recieved. especially things like bras which normally i end up spending tons of money on at even walmart. on here i got 6 for 23 dollars and all of them fit, have held up in the wash and are comfortable.
    if youre going to shop dont expect the world and dont get mad if you did and end up with a crappy experience.

    Completely UNHAPPY WITH THIS BOGUS COMPANY!!!!!!
    Placed my order on April 4th and got half of it in a timely manner. However, I never heard about the rest of my order via phone or email. I sent an email and called today. The customer service representative was rude and pulled excuses out of the sky! First, told me my card was expired. Secondly, it’s the vendors fault for not contacting me regarding the missing portion of my order. Then her final remark which was the most priceless, “FILE A COMPLAINT!!” Yet she wasn’t once worried about saving the entire order. She said I wasn’t charged because of the expiration of my card. However, shipped half my order? It’s on my statement? Completely unsatisfied and will never recommend this company to anyone else!

    Girlfriend found the website and sent me 3 items she wanted to purchase. 1 of the item was the Egyptian COMFORT sheets. I informed her that no where does it say cotton, so we did not order that. We ordered $250 .50 carrot earrings, and $11 Magic Lights w/remote on May 1st 2013.

    I was very skeptical and upset at myself for not placing only the smaller order and seeing how it goes.

    When I called them to cancel the earrings, they told me it had already been shipped. The tracking number did not work. My girlfriend told me that the tracking numbers do not work right away in most cases and to wait a few days. Two days later, the tracking number was working and my expected arrival date is May 9th for the larger order. The smaller order just shipped out and currently has a tracking number that is not working… yet. I expect it to be working by the 10th. As of today, my order $250 order has been received by my local post office and I am expecting it today (1 day earlier than the website says) or tomorrow.

    Ordered 6 piece set of Egyptian towels on 5/9/13. (Red $46) Received them today, 5/16/13.
    They are thick and gorgeous and a very true red. Couldn’t ask for more.
