We use our grill nearly every night in the Summer. Especially now that my hubby has a new grill from the profits of our garage sale… aka I sold all my clothes and my husband got a new grill. Yes, I am still not sure how that deal worked. BUT I admit I love to eat the steaks that he cooks up for us!
Cooking steaks isn’t all we do on the grill. We do veggies, chicken, pork and more. A few nights ago we made it easy on ourselves and cooked up some frozen Ore-Ida Grillers.
Ore-Ida Grillers are a new potato item in the frozen food section. Currently there are two options: Grillers Golden Thick Cut Potatoes and Grillers Seasoned Thick Cut Potatoes. We found both available options at our local Walmart and grilled them up that night!
One bag of these Grillers is more than enough for a side dish for dinner time. And cooking them up is easy! All you do is dump the bag of pre-crinkled-cut style potatoes on the grill and heat them up for about 15 minutes (roughly 7 minutes on each side). The timing aligned perfectly with our main dish cooking time too!
Having such a simple to serve side dish made time for perfecting the main dish and other side dishes too. We didn’t have to worry about the potatoes except for a quick flip half way through the cooking process. Not only that there was absolutely no prep work. No washing, peeling, cutting, or softening.
The potato Grillers turned out great! They were perfectly crispy, thick and seasoned. Both my husband and I loved them! I usually eat potato products with ketchup, but I found that the Grillers Seasoned Thick Cut Potatoes were seasoned perfect and didn’t need any extras!
We will absolutely be grilling these tasty potatoes up again, seeing as they are easy and perfect for when we are busy. Like while hosting parties, or need a simple side dish or a basic easy snack. What a quick and DELICIOUS way to eat potatoes!
