This post was created in partnership with Harvest Snaps. I have been compensated for this post. However, all thoughts and opinions are my own.
Packing a healthy school lunch is so important for a kid’s success. Studies show that kids can focus better and have more positive energy to learn when they eat healthy during lunch.
I am a strong advocate of eating clean – as fresh as possible. I try not to eat a lot of processed foods, and if I do – they are minimally processed. When I need a quick snack and fresh foods are not an option – I reach for dried fruit or vegetables. Yes dried vegetables! Surprisingly, there are a lot of decent options!
For instance, have you seen Harvest Snap Peas on the shelves?
They are delicious. The Snapea Crisps are available in four different varieties: Lightly Salted, Caesar, Black Pepper and Wasabi Ranch. Lentil Snaps come in the Tomato Basil and Onion Thyme flavors. Harvest Snaps are consistently in my grocery cart, I find them at my favorite grocery store, Sprouts. Over the years, I have tried them all!
My favorite flavor: Snapea Crisps – Black Pepper.
The Black Pepper flavor is for the spicy seasoning lover. The flavoring is just right on the crispy and crunchy peas. And truthfully, they are as satisfying as having something less healthy, aka a potato chip.
You heard it right hear folks – Crispy and flavorful Harvest Snaps are just as satisfying as their unhealthy competitors. Harvest Snaps are guilt-free, tasty and a healthier snack option for those school lunches or mid-day cravings!
