MY niece named her little baby doll Joey. What is really funny Joey is some times a girl and some times a boy depending on the rolls this doll is playing in her story’s about where he has been and what he has done. She love to have Joey in the hospital because then she is his mommy and doctor. Her sweetest little mommy moment was when I was recovering from surgery at her home she would come in and check on my take my water bottle and get Ice and water. Then she always made sure that I had a snack to take with my medication. If I asked her father to remove the Ice pack after I went to sleep she would come in with him and watch his every move. Then after he left I would hear her checking to make sure I still had water and a snack so that if I woke up I wouldn’t have to leave my room.

I remember my mother in law making some beautiful doll clothes for my daughter Carly for Christmas. Carly looked at her Grandmother and said “That’s for my baby is the anything for me?”

My daughter had an Indian Doll with Jet Black Hair…and wouldn’t you know? she named her “Black Hair”
One day we were in the supermarket shopping and she began to scream at the top of her lungs..
“I WANT BLACK HAIR….YOU LEFT BLACK HAIR IN THE CAR..”
Everyone was staring at us because they didn’t know she was screaming about a doll.

Needless to say, it wasn’t funny at the time, but she is 23 now and we laugh so hard when we remember that darn doll.
    Definately a “mommy moment”
