Did you know that a typical teeth brushing misses 75 percent of your mouth? That is why a full oral care routine of brushing, flossing and rinsing is essential to clean your teeth and mouth. What might be basic for adults, can be more difficult for children.
Well, now kids can keep their smiles shining and healthy with a simple, and fun smart rinse. The rinse provides 12-hour cavity protection and strengthens teeth 99% better than brushing alone. The rinse is simple because it pours out just enough for a daily rinse. It is fun because you can make a game out of it with your kids and there are cartoon characters ( PHINEAS AND FERB™ and BARBIE™) on some of the bottles. How do you make a game out of good oral hygiene?
Instead of struggling, get your kids to care about their teeth with tips and tricks, like these from Dr. Kaneta Lott, pediatric dentist and member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry:
Tips For Children’s Teeth Cleaning
· Show, don’t tell: Share the brushing, flossing and rinsing experience with your children as they are more likely to imitate behavior they see adults doing.
· Make oral care fun: Turn flossing into a funny-face contest or brushing into a game of “Simon says.”
· Reward healthy behavior: Offer rewards for achieving brushing, flossing and rinsing goals with stickers or prizes…who doesn’t love some praise every now and then?
Listerine Smart Rinse is a important oral care step for killing bacteria and reducing bad breath for those children six years and older.
Purchase: You can find the Listerine Smart Rinse in the oral care section of your local grocery or drug store nationwide. For more information, visit www.ListerineKids.com
