BURGER KING^® is keeping up with their competition, by offering more choices to their customers.Within the last few weeks, they have expanded their menu to include some great new offerings. Some of the new choices include: Garden Fresh Salads, Snack Wraps, Real Fruit Smoothies, Frappés and Crispy Chicken Strips. Oh, and of course they still have their classic items, including the coveted WHOPPER^® burger.

Personally, I have always thought Burger King had the best fries in the business – so I am happy that they only added items – and didn’t take away or change my favorite crispy fries! My husband on the other hand, loves the fire-grilled WHOPPER® . He’s not alone either… it has been America’s Favorite Burger year after year!!

Lucky for us, we got to enjoy some of the newest offerings (Real Fruit Smoothies and Frappés) at Burger King. We also took a few goofy pictures to show our experience!

The first thing we noticed about the new menu at BK was the… new menu! Ok, really, it wasn’t just the new items… the menu is now a bright, easy-to-read menu. It has a video recording playing that features some of the new items. I must say, it was very eye catching. Then we noticed the new machines that were necessary for the newest beverages! We couldn’t wait to stick our straw in those! Along with our meals, we ordered two of the new beverage offerings: The Real Fruit Smoothie and the Rich and Smooth Frappe.

New Real Fruit Smoothies at BURGER KING^® are offered in 12, 16, and 20oz. servings, and are made fresh to order with real fruit, low-fat yogurt and juices blended together. Each smoothie provides a full serving of fruit and is offered in the following varieties:

• Tropical Mango
• Strawberry Banana

Rich and smooth Frappés at BURGER KING^® are made to order and provide the perfect combination of sweet Mocha or Caramel flavors, a hint coffee and ice. Offered in 12, 16, and 20oz. servings, frappes are available in the following varieties:

• Mocha Frappé ~ The perfect combination of sweet flavor, a hint of coffee and ice all topped with whipped topping and a swirl of fudge
• Caramel Frappé ~ The perfect combination of sweet flavor, a hint of coffee and ice all topped with whipped topping and a swirl of caramel

My husband and I shared the two drinks. We decided on the Strawberry Banana flavor for the smoothie and the Caramel for the Frappe. Each were a real treat! The smoothie had a healthy taste to it, and it was a great addition to a light menu option. The Frappe was sweet and delicious! We both agreed that these are great additions to the Burger King menu.

We didn’t get a chance to try everything, but let’s just say I am looking forward to trying out some of the other premium items the next time I go. (Garden Fresh Salads, Snack Wraps and Crispy Chicken Strips). My mouth waters and my stomach growls just reading the names and descriptions of the fresh salads: The Chicken BLT Garden Fresh Salad, Chicken, The Apple and Cranberry Garden Fresh Salad, and The Chicken Caesar Garden Fresh Salad. Yum!
