Giveaway! Feesk Fashion Sandals {Ends 8/17}

by Karissa 85 Comments

I am not exactly sure how I first found out about Feesk Boutique and their Toe Plug Sandals, but I am glad that I did! Best discovery of Summer!

I can honestly state that “not all sandals are created equally.”

Especially not after seeing this selection of fabulous footwear. Each pair is skillfully hand made, a true one-of-a-kind masterpiece! They are based loosely on ancient sandal styles (also known as Padukas). It is no wonder I’d never seen anything like them!Feesk-Toe-Plug-Sandals-WhiteFiona, the owner of the shop, kindly sent a basic black toe plug sandal for me to review, and I have been wearing them ever since!

Black-toe-plug-sandalsI received a beautiful wrapped package and an even more beautiful pair of toe plug sandals. I couldn’t stop looking at them! So posh. So European. The most original and unique pair of sandals I have ever seen! No other sandal I own compares to the “prettiness” of these sandals!

A sandal is not just a sandal any longer!

But there is always that part about actually wearing the sandals… what good is a shoe that you just look at?

Toe-Plug-Modern-SandalI had my doubts when I first received them. I didn’t understand the concept of these sandals staying in place or fitting right. I thought surely they would pop off, and probably in the most embarrassing way. I was also concerned about the comfort of a “plug” between my toes.

Well, truthfully they did pop off for the first two days. The plug was unusual. The space between my toes was the same as a typically flip flop, but the plug was the odd part.

But remember I said I’ve been wearing them ever since? That’s right, the plug adjusted to my foot for absolute comfort! It just needed a few days to relax and mold to my feet!

Toe-plug-shoes-european-styleNow that the plug has adjusted to my feet they don’t pop off at all! I actually don’t even think about it anymore! They are superlight (each pair weighs as little as 0.35 lbs) – which I love, not heavy and dragging me down!

I have worn these sandals on walks with my dog, to the supermarket, mailbox and around the house. They have gotten some pretty good use! I would say they are great for a few errands, but not a long day of touring the city. They are surprising comfortable for light walking though.Toe-Plug-SandalsFeesk sandals are hand made with eco-friendly leather cloth insoles and recycled rubber outer soles. These sandals are just simply gorgeous. They make me feel special, and they definitely stand out! I can wear them casually or dress up an outfit with them.

Buy them:
Prices on the Feesk Etsy site vary depending on the detail and intricacy of the sandals. These high-fashion sandals range from $45- $120 (great for handmade)!
