Yay for Friday… or happy #friyay!
I’ve got my planner all booked this weekend! It is non stop on the agenda from Thursday to Sunday!
Last night I started my long weekend with a blogger event hosted by Sprouts and Cook Street Denver. (I’ll be writing more on that later). Over the next few days I am watching 3 sets of 2 dogs. Yes. That’s a lot of dogs. But I love dogs so… I’ve also got our little town’s Art Night Out tonight and I am doing my first Pole Fitness class in Boulder. Have you ever seen these? These women are strong! I want that!
On the agenda tomorrow is the Lafayette Peach Festival (yum palisade peaches), a Social Media Lunch at Five on Black and then we are going to the Kool Koncert at Fiddlers Green – Kool and the Gang, Huey Lewis and the News, the Go-Gos and The Fixx.
As for Sunday – I am barely leaving the house for church and then a long nap!
What is on you calendar this weekend?
I hope you have got some end-of-summer-fun plans! Anyway, without further ado, as my week comes to a close – I bring to you my favorites from this week!
Food: Sprouts Farmers Markets
Like I said, last night I went to a fun event downtown that was sponsored by Sprouts. While I really enjoyed the event, Sprouts Farmers Market had my heart long before! I have been obsessed with Sprouts since I moved to Colorado and went into one for the first time. They are my go-to store for bulk food, produce and all of my gluten free needs. They have double-ad Wednesdays, and those deal cannot be beat!
Check out all the Sprouts locations!
Book: The 3 Dimensions of Emotions
The 3 Dimensions of Emotions: Finding the Balance of Power, Heart, and Mindfulness in All Your Relationships – is a book that talks about the various aspects of emotions and how to reign them in to balance your life and your relationships. I love learning about the mind and psychology and loved reading about the concept of working the triangle: interpersonal world–power, love, and mindfulness.
“Human reactivity is the source of most of our interpersonal problems and pain.”

Nutrition: Healthy Skoop
I had never heard of a protein powder {for sleep?} before finding out that Helathy Skoop makes one called “Skoop Sleep Protein”. It is made without gluten, whey, dairy, soy, GMOs or anything artificial. It comes in a 10 pack or individual single-serve packs. I tried out the tirami-snooze and the key lime dream flavors. They are tasty and help me rest peacefully for a full nights sleep. Impressive product, company and ingredients!
