Fireworks blast above me in the sky, the hot warm air on my skin, Summer is here! This year, I spent the Fourth of July at our annual family reunion on the east coast. Each year it is a big event with my dad’s side of the family. We leave our rainy clothes at home in Seattle and jump a flight across the country, just to end up in the corn fields and Amish country towns of rural Pennsylvania.
Of course the fun doesn’t end after the Fourth though. Once we head home, we love hosting barbeques, having picnics on the warm summer evenings, and making new friends at our community park events! It is events like these that make Summer… summertime!
This year, Target has been my one stop Summer shop! From bug sprays and citronella candles to flip flops and sunglasses. I’ve always been completely addicted to their women’s fashion and accessories sections. And if I am at a Super Target – I simply don’t need to go anywhere else! Clothes are covered – and they’ve got food, drinks and everything to host any outdoor party!
So when you are busy preparing for block parties and entertaining guests, Target wants to help you make the most of your trip – this year, you’ll find easy to see, giant photos of beach balls, sunglasses and sand buckets that direct you to the colorful summer merchandise (like these that you can find in Target’s summer catalog) :
- Serving Bowl with Bamboo Lid – $11.99
- Strawberry Melamine Dinnerware Plates – $1.99 each
- Strawberry Melamine Salad Plates- $1.79 each
- Strawberry Hi Ball Tumblers – $1.99
There are other stores that might have tons of Summer collections too, but there is no doubt that Target is my favorite of them all! Target is the destination for everything families need to make the most of summer. The store is organized and easy to get around, they have quality Summer essentials and I don’t spend all day in the check out line. Target is always my favorite one-stop Summer shop!
