Did you know Nasoya Tofu is perfect for any meal?
I am a newbie when it comes to tofu. In the past, I typically used tofu for 2 purposes – Pad Thai and Stir Fry. Call me naive, but I was dumbfounded by tofu, I didn’t know any other ways to use tofu!
So when Nasoya challenged me to see how far I could take tofu, I got a little intimidated, then after thinking about it, isn’t that the definition of a challenge? I decided to test out Nasoya tofu, and see what I came up with!
I was sent a selection of Nasoya Tofu – some of which I never even knew was available. Tofu has come a long way, hasn’t it?
· (1) package of Chipotle TofuBaked
· (1) package of Sesame Ginger TofuBaked

With all this variety of tofu, it is no wonder Nasoya is America’s favorite tofu brand! They really have some great products to get the ball rolling on unique recipes!
Speaking of, I was also sent some recipe cards for how to use tofu in recipes for a little tofu-inspiration! I was shocked to read the delicious sounding recipes! Tofu Stuffed Spaghetti Squash Boats, Cucumber Tofu Bundles, Quinoa Stuffed Peppers, Chipolte Mac and Cheese, Tofu Ice Cubes and Pumpkin, Black Bean and Tofu Fajitas (the most delicious ever)!
Seeing as I make smoothies just-about everyday… I decided to liven my smoothie up with some tofu! The Nasoya Silken Tofu is the perfect tofu texture for my at home berry tofu smoothie challenge!
Berry Tofu Smoothie
1/4 cup orange juice concentrate
2 cups mixed berries (blueberries, blackberries, raspberries) – frozen
1 cup strawberries – frozen or fresh
1/2 banana – frozen or fresh
A handful of ice cubes
1/4 cup Nasoya Silken Tofu (1/4 of the package)
1 cup water
Add all the ingredients to a blender and puree until smooth! (Most blenders work best if you put the frozen stuff in first and fill with liquid). For a sweeter version, add a tablespoon of honey.
*Tofu was a tasty replacement to say, greek yogurt or almond milk. It gave it that creamy feeling, and added a significant amount of protein! It’s a great healthy option!
*Vegan, Vegetarian, Gluten Free, Dairy Free, Low FODMAP
