As I get older, my taste in clothing has become less hipster-cool-popular and more sophisticated-well put together. At least I think so! Look mom, I’m growing up!

The problem I face as I make this shift is often frustrating though. See, for example, when I shop less junior section and more in the women section… sometimes I am bombarded with ugly “old women clothes”. I can’t stand the sight! Some of these obscure garments are just plain hideous. They make me want to run back to the junior’s section and hide!

I hate to judge, but c’mon… some of those “old women clothes” will never look good on anyone! Shame. Shame. This sight makes it hard for me update my style! I want to be in-between a state of trendy and posh.  Not a state of… ugliness out of this world! Is that too much to ask?

Wow! Let’s just say I am very impressed with my Tribal Birchwood Jacket. It is finely made, comfortable and stylish. I can wear it with a pair of jeans and look well put-together or I can pair it with a skirt or black pants for a fancier evening outfit! It is a great mix-and-match piece, it goes with so much!

Also, I am very fond of the texture on the front, it adds a uniqueness to the jacket. Thanks to the small details of the texture and design, the style is out of the ordinary. Also, I should note, the zipper is strong and made to last. Whether I wear it zipped up or zipped open, it is a VERY great piece!
